Committed to Supporting Our Communities

As a community bank, it’s essential for us to do more than provide products and services. First State Bank makes it our mission to engage in efforts that improve the quality of life for those who live and work in our regions.

Our company-wide initiatives include the following:

  • Giving to more than 52 local and national non-profits and community organizations in 2023.
  • Engaging with 86 organizations, including in-kind giving and volunteerism.
  • Contributing to the Homeownership Fund Grant Program to ensure all community members access our deposit and loan products equally. Qualified homebuyers with a low-to-moderate income can receive grants towards a down payment or closing costs.
  • Employees serving with non-profit boards, committees, and commissions in our local communities.

Vendor Diversity Program

We believe that banks that actively embrace diversity and consistently demonstrate their commitment to the communities they serve, establish a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.

We proactively seek diverse suppliers. To support our community, we must include the broadest range of people, ideas, products and services possible. Our Vendor Diversity program does just that. We do everything we can to ensure that diversity-owned businesses are afforded equal opportunity to participate in our procurement processes.

To qualify for our Diversity program a business must be at least 51% owned, controlled, and managed by a minority or woman.

We encourage prospective suppliers to contact us at 636-940-5555, toll-freeĀ 1-888-287-2175 or bank@fsbfinancial.com for more information on our Vendor Diversity Program.
